Move 150 Tons, even in tight clearance constraints Removing three old coal pulverizes, weighing 150 Tons each, with an AeroGo air bearing Load Module System™. Floor conditions were less than ideal, so sheet metal was used as a surface overlay to provide the temporary sealed surfaced necessary to float loads on a cushion of air. With only a quarter inch clearance, the load was transported 150 feet/45 meters; angled through a door; and then side shifted 90-degrees to a concrete pad just outside the building. Quickly Moved 370-Ton Caissons Moving six (6) 370-ton concrete caissons (10x10x110 feet/3x3x33 meters) to a barge took less than one hour per caisson. Simple product operation required that the workers easily insert the AeroGo air caster Load Modules under each caisson end. Once inflated the caissons were pushed down the length of the dock. The customer was so pleased with the success of this move and the versatility of AeroGo's air caster Load Module System that they plan to utilize it again in an upcoming railroad bridge section move.
