What our customers have to say:
Thanks for all your support, and the support of your folks through this project thus far. You probably have heard by now that we had a successful move Saturday morning. - Aerospace company, Seattle WA

Since 1967, AeroGo has supplied specialized tooling for moving and positioning aircraft, parts and/or components, rockets and satellites to the world's leading Aerospace companies. AeroGo air caster equipment provides vibration-less movement, unique manueverabillity and accurate positioning of components making it ideal for moving and positioning precision custom engineered products.

V-22 Osprey - Precision Assembly
Designing and manufacturing a viable tilt-motor aircraft is a difficult procedure that requires tight assembly tolerances. Boeing asked AeroGo to devise an air caster system for maintaining these tolerances in relatively close quarters. The innovative solution included four transporters to support, move, and accurately position fuselage and structural sections during assembly. A special mobile platform and an attachment fixture that transfers the canted deck assembly from the assembly jig were also designed and manufactured. As a result, a 10-Ton Aircraft comes together with minimal effort, labor and absolute precision. Electronically synchronized drives move each transporter, equipped with Aerogo air casters, between assembly stations in the plant. Each transporter is designed to lift the airframe assembly and accurately position them for joining with other sections of the aircraft.

Societe Europeene de Propulsion (SEP)
AeroGo designed and manufactured equipment for SEP (Euro propulsion) in France for moving and positioning Ariane 5 Solid Rocket Motor Segments in the Motor Integration Building (MIB) at the Guyanais Space Center (GSC) in French Guiana.

The equipment is a 220.5-ton capacity movement system for moving and supporting the 46 foot tall Rocket Motor Segment in the vertical position. The AeroGo design of this system incorporates a 16.4-foot square, low profile Transporter using six 48" diameter Aero-Casters and an integrated pallet with support structure. The explosion proof electronic controlled Transporter interfaces with a pallet holding the rocket motor in a vertical position. The system operator completes all moves using Electronic Synchronized Steering Controls.

B-2 Bomber - Omnidirectional Transfer
This sophisticated aircraft mover was designed and built to transport the B-2 Bomber within the final assembly area. The transporter pulls the aircraft onto the wheel support pads and utilizes synchronized electronic drives for omnidirectional movement. A single operator is able to load, unload and move the 160-Ton aircraft.

Aircraft Assembly Line Efficiency
Seeking an improved means to move aircraft quickly and safely on a busy assembly line, AeroGo Engineers proposed a unique air caster solution to eliminate a bottleneck in the client's manufacturing procedure. Using AeroGo air caster technology, a low-profile transporter was developed to lift the entire aircraft by its tires and, using the motive force of two external drives, easily maneuver the plane on a cushion of air to the next position on the assembly line. Two people can now do the job of 12. The client is satisfying their customers' needs while producing planes more economically and efficiently.

F-22 Precise Testing Requirements
The key to manufacturing this solution was to provide a constant and steady tilt and rotation of the F-22 during radar testing. This jet fighter, radio controlled air caster Transporter-Steel Turntable has a rated capacity of 25 Tons. This T-shaped Transporter incorporated dual air-powered steerable traction drives for 4-directional travel, and an air-applied floor pivot for in-position, about center, turntable style rotation of the air frame.

Existing System Modification Expertise
Looking for a way to improve current component/part assembly processes? AeroGo can provide solutions for complete systems or modifications to existing systems. For this client, AeroGo provided transporters and an air jack system, along with the engineering expertise necessary to optimize their existing dolly. Now the completed wing is slid effortlessly on a cushion of air beneath the fuselage of the aircraft and, using the air jacks, is raised gently into the precise assembly position. The risk of injury to the technicians and damage to the aircraft structure is greatly reduced, while productivity is increased. AeroGo has a long history of providing cost effective solutions to material handling problems.

C-17 Globemaster - Cost Effective Assembly Solution
AeroGo designed and manufactured this automatic air caster air caster and Traction Drive System, which incorporated two C-17 assembly and body join fixtures. Each fixture has twenty-two 48 inch diameter air casters, four fixed drives and two steerable, quick attach traction drives. On-board hose reels enable the supply hoses to be hooked to different air sources in the facility. The Automatic air caster System enables lifting and floating the approximately 200 Tons of assembly fixture and aircraft while maintaining a constant planetary and lift height. The system also enables joining of the forward fuselage section to the main fuselage section with a very tight height allowance.

USA Space Shuttle program - Versatility and Efficiency
Thiokol uses AeroGo Rotators to rotate 12-foot/3.7m diameter, 180-Ton solid rocket motor (SRM) segment. The AeroGo Transporter is then utilized to move the loaded Rotator to various manufacturing process, including X-Ray. The Transporter is also used to move non-rotating structures. The 32-foot/9.8m Transporter, which incorporates multiple drives controlled by one person from a pendant control, is used to maneuver and position the loaded Rotator to desired locations. The high lift of the AeroGo slide-mounted air casters enable the equipment to move over a variety of surfaces from the outside pads into the manufacturing facilities.

Satellite Transport Vehicle
AeroGo offers extensive engineering experience building custom satellite transporters, complete with the ability to run an analysis of each Transporter's design, safety and performance.
