The load is literally floated on a thin, nearly frictionless film of air 0.003 to 0.005 inches/0.08 to 0.13 mm allowing the load to move omnidirectionally in a complete 2D freedom. A Guide Wheel is centrally mounted allowing one person to easily move and turn a 5,000 lb/2.300 kg load. Equipped with a pneumatic drive, the AirShuttle™ can easily be controlled by one man, for moving loads of up to 8,800 lb/4.000 kg.
