Just like an Air Pallet™, AirShuttles™ are equipped with four Air Caster air bearings arranged under the load’s center of gravity. Unlike the Air Pallet™, the controls (pressure regulators, gauge, guide wheel controls, and the air throttle) are located on the T-handle. Air plumbing includes a manifold, located on the narrow end, automatic flow control valves, one pressure regulator and an on/off valve. When unloaded the standard no-load wheels provide manueverability.
When the Air Casters are deflated the AirShuttle™ rests firmly on Air Caster landing pads which protect the Air Caster's torus bag and prevent it from being crushed by the load.
