Just like an Aero-Pallet™, AirShuttles™ are equipped with four Aero-Caster® air bearings arranged under the load’s center of gravity. Unlike the Aero-Pallet™, the controls (pressure regulators, gauge, guide wheel controls, and the air throttle) are located on the T-handle. Air plumbing includes a manifold, located on the narrow end, automatic flow control valves, one pressure regulator and an on/off valve. When unloaded the standard no-load wheels provide manueverability.
When the Aero-Casters® are deflated the AirShuttle™ rests firmly on Aero-Caster® landing pads which protect the Aero-Caster’s® torus bag and prevent it from being crushed by the load.
